On May 8, 2015 I presented at the Library Association of the City University of New York (LACUNY) Institute on privacy and surveillance. My topic was on how social media affects discourse in the classroom, in the sense that fear of social media repercussions may hinder freedom of speech and academic exploration by faculty during classes.
