Chair, 2017-2018

I worked to encourage individuals to join GODORT and supported member retention efforts. I also planned the GODORT Happy Hours for both Midwinter and Annual conferences, as well as a GODORT orientation session at Annual to introduce members to round table activities and encourage greater involvement. I led efforts to establish new goals and expectations for the committee following GODORT’s reorganization, including setting up monthly meetings with committee members and taking meeting minutes. I served as a voting member of the GODORT Steering Committee, attending all Steering meetings and participating in strategic discussions and activities related to the organization’s future, the FDLP, and government information librarianship.
