Because of my role as Member Services Director for ALA’s New Members Round Table (NMRT), I was contacted by the chair of the San Jose State University’s (SJSU) ALA Student Chapter and asked to do a webinar for the library school students about the benefits of an ALA membership, provide information about NMRT, and provide ALA conference tips. I presented this session twice: once on January 27. 2016 and the second time on November 2, 2016.
