From 2018 to 2019, I worked closely with Palestinian scholar Dr. Hilmi Salem, offering detailed editorial feedback, editorial support, and advice on potential peer-reviewed journals for submission.
I provided extensive assistance with locating historic Census data to help MSU faculty member Dr. Anna Pegler-Gordon with her book, Closing the Golden Door.

Between 2019-2021, I worked with a Dr. Chelsea Wentworth in MSU’s Department of Community of Sustainability with finding Census data and explaining how Census surveys change over time. Examples of data requested that I compiled include city and county-level information regarding income, poverty, race, housing vacancy rates, food security, public assistance recipients, and suburban migration to show “white flight” for a time period of 1940-present. The researcher and I met several times over Zoom to discuss data needs and how to use data resources.
I provided information to Kathleen Weessies regarding the Federal Depository Library Program.
