Janary 2018-Present

In January 2018, I became a moderator for the government information listserv (GOVDOC-L). Because of the nature of government information, this listserv is moderated to ensure that inappropriate messages are not posted. As a moderator, I am responsible for my assigned month to review each message before either approving it and posting it to the listserv or rejecting it and contacting the sender so that they can amend their message to meet the listserv’s requirements. I am also assigned a month to receive listserv error reports, such as mail delivery failures or issues related to senders trying unsuccessfully to post messages. I typically moderate the list two months a year and manage errors two months out of the year.
